John took engagement photographs of our daughter and we later asked him to take a family portrait of my husband, daughter, son and me. The portrait was to be a very special one as my son at that stage was suffering from a brain tumour. John took some really delightful photographs of our family, he made us feel very much at ease during the photoshoot and we all really enjoyed it, including my son, who was always a bit camera shy.

John photographed our wedding at Clandon Park, Guildford, and did such a fantastic job. John came and photographed our wedding on the 23rd May. In the lead up to the wedding he made good suggestions and was able to help us get an idea of what we wanted out of the wedding shots. During the ceremony he blended perfectly into the background, also got on very well with the guests having a good laugh and a joke with the younger ones and remained more formal around our older relatives. We got many positive comments from our guests about John. After the wedding he helped us adjust a few photos to maximise smiling friends and relatives in the larger group pictures to our spec. The whole process was great from start to finish and the finished book looks amazing!
